This app works great. Guide mode stretch a pane to full screen, which makes it easy to read on the small screen. Even on the bigger iPad sometimes I use guide mode to slow down the pace and see the details. Unfortunately there is this problem where the app will hang after it is brought back from the background. Otherwise I will give it five stars.
Okay not all manga but very good selections with awesome plots.
The app is easy and simple to use, coming with a verity of manga the only problem is that theres not enough to pick from, where as I can easily marathon all of the manga in just a couple of days.
It is probably the best manga reading app Ive seen so far. It occasionally fails to load something, but it usually only takes a couple retries to work. Not perfect, but what is?
Great layout and easy to find manga! Just wish it had more to read!
I like the app it lets me bookmark comics, read on the go and make favorites.
Still there is room for improvement one being some comics fall under simulpub but they are completed it would be nice to have an ongoing section.
I would also like to see the library expanded the addition of argent cavaliers and seukedachi nine is nice but it seems fairytail and SDS are on their way out so something will need to fill there space.
Also the app cant easily be configured it was storing something on my phone and eventually got to be 1 gig in size and it took deleting and reinstalling the app to fix the issue.
Some bad moments
This app has not been functional for many premium users for at least two months. Despite the fact that Crunchyroll is aware of the issue there is yet to be an official fix, which is extremely frustrating considering it exclusively effects their paying customers.
If you are considering a Crunchyroll premium membership for manga, I would advise against it at this time; despite their excellent selection there is simply no way to read manga on ios for many subscribers. This all seems to show a staggering lack of care for their paying user base, I had really expected more from them.
Great application when it works — but I havent been able to log in for the last month. Hopefully you have better luck and if you do get in theres lots of great comics to enjoy.
Not sure if its worse then the other one but its at least the same level of trash
Good app but it crashes lots, usually at least 2-3 times per use.
One thing that I dont appreciate is how most of the manga that people want to read (At least that I want to read) such as Fairy Tail or Seven Deadly Sins require a premium account. So I just started the free trail to see if the experience was as great as advertised, and frankly, Im disappointed. I still cant read these manga that I love, even though I have the premium. Can somebody please look into this, and maybe have a category of free manga so that those who are not willing to pay can find them easily? Thank you!
I consistently get timeout and bad request errors when Im using the app, when Im able to access the internet and Crunchyrolls reading service just fine from my computer on the same network. It is becoming increasingly frustrating to read manga given those.
